The Cognitive and Experimental Economics Laboratory (CEEL) is a laboratory within the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Trento, dedicated to research in cognitive, behavioral, and experimental economics. As one of the first experimental economics laboratories in Italy, it boasts over thirty years of experience in the field and promotes an interdisciplinary approach that combines economics, cognitive psychology, and organizational studies.

CEEL studies individual and group decision-making processes, with a particular focus on risk, cooperation, social preferences, and behavioral finance. The laboratory features dedicated infrastructure for in-person, online, and field experiments, including computer workstations, experimental software, and tools for psychophysiological measurements. Furthermore, it supports the training of young researchers through workshops, scientific collaborations, and assistance in designing experimental studies.
