The Programme Committee is in charge of:

  • accepting applications of new memberships for the Doctoral Programme Committee;
  • organising the teaching programme, including all the teaching activities and the course calendar;
  • appointing a supervisor and other two experts who will be part of the Thesis Advisory Group (TAG) tutor for each student;
  • authorizing students, as agreed with their supervisors, to go abroad or in Italy for training and visiting periods of more than six months;
  • deciding upon the admission of the students to the subsequent year of studies;
  • approving the admission to the final exam;
  • promoting relationships with other Italian and foreign universities and with public bodies and private organizations in order to improve the research activities;
  • approving agreements with other public or private institutions;
  • approving the cotutelle agreements of incoming and outgoing students.
