PhD student collaborating with an NGO in Mozambique. I'm interested in engineering for Development Cooperation, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. My research project aims to investigate the suitable and sustainable alternatives for hospital solid waste management in low-income countries.

Research proposal: Hospital solid waste management in a low-income context: environmental and health and safety policies for hospitals, best practices for sorting, collection and transport, suitable technologies for treatment and final disposal.

Alessandra Miccolis

I'm interested in social problems, social capital, social impact assessment methods, impact measurement in Public Administration, and hybrid organizations (institutions that mix values, actions, and elements of public, private, and voluntary sectors).

My current field of research is related to the impact assessment of a co-living project enforced by the Autonomous Province of Trento.

Mai Linh Nguyen

I am a PhD student enrolled in the National Doctoral programme in Sustainable Development and Climate Change (IUSS Pavia in cooperation with the University of Trento). Susteems offers me the opportunity to attend some methodological courses and seminars, which greatly contributes to the broadening of my knowledge. 

My research interests lie primarily in the area of agricultural and food policies in the context of climate change.
