Ada Castellucci

PhD student collaborating with an NGO in Mozambique. I'm interested in engineering for Development Cooperation, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. My research project aims to investigate suitable and sustainable alternatives for hospital solid waste management in low-income countries.

Research proposal: Hospital solid waste management in a low-income context: environmental and health and safety policies for hospitals, best practices for sorting, collection and transport, suitable technologies for treatment and final disposal.

Riccardo Lucarno

My research focuses on the analysis of climate change consequences in urban areas.  

I mainly work with quantitative research methods to assess dynamism of energy demand and evaluation of city mitigation policies at the European level.

Mai Linh Nguyen

I am a PhD student enrolled in the National Doctoral programme in Sustainable Development and Climate Change (IUSS Pavia in cooperation with the University of Trento). Susteems offers me the opportunity to attend some methodological courses and seminars, which greatly contributes to the broadening of my knowledge. 

My research interests lie primarily in the area of agricultural and food policies in the context of climate change.
